Reduce, reuse, repair and recycle

Waste, and how we choose to handle it, affects our world's environment -- that's OUR environment, everything that surrounds us including the air, water, land, plants, and man-made things. And since by now you probably know that you need a healthy environment for your own health and happiness, you can understand why effective waste management is so important to YOU and everyone else. The waste we create has to be carefully controlled to be sure that it does not harm your environment and your health.

England's Day: St. George's Day

St. George is the patron saint of England. His emblem, a red cross on a white background, is the flag of England, and part of the British flag.
One of the best-known stories about Saint George is his fight with a dragon. But it is highly unlikely that he ever fought a dragon. Despite this, St George is known throughout the world as the dragon-slaying patron saint of England.

You can read more about St Georege's Day here. Moreover, for sure you would like to check your knowledge about England... how many points do you get??? Don't look at the key before doing the activity!!!

But after Britain's first-ever televised debate, one man emerged as a surprise contender to be the next incumbent at 10 Downing Street. This person is the Liberal Democrats' Nick Clegg.
