Last Thursday it was an important day in the USA. The reason is that they celebrate Thanksgiving day on the fourth Thursday in November every year. Let's discover why the American come together and have a big party with their families.

November 25th is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. According to the World Health Organization, violence causes more death and disability among women aged 15 to 44 than cancer, malaria and war. In some countries, seeking a divorce is considered a crime that can warrant death.

Shania Twain is a Canadian singer and songwriter in the country and pop music genres. In this song, a woman finds her self-esteem and decides "I'd rather die standing than live on my knees".
